The Blue Pincushion Inspiration

This rare little bloom started the story of Unity. Blue flowers are uncommon in nature, and the Blue Pincushion embodies what it means to be calm, to accept things as they are, and to be tough enough to find peace no matter what comes your way.  

In the language of flowers, it symbolizes friendship, admiration, longevity, and endurance - the same qualities found in the true blue Aussie spirit. Its vibrant petals radiating from the centre reminded me of how everything blue in Australia flows together: our skies, our waters, our rare blooms, and our people.

Blue Unity reminds us why Australia is special - not just because we have blue skies or blue water, but because here, uniquely, everything blue flows together as one magnificent, unbroken story that we all get to be part of it
